On August 22, 2014, Intel, in collaboration with the Education Publishing House and FAHASA, launched the program “Experience the new generation electronic textbook, Classbook 2”. This is an opportunity for students, parents, and teachers to explore the benefits of the new generation electronic textbook. Classbook 2 is known as an educational product with the characteristic: “Light to carry – Easy to learn”.
The Classbook 2 experience program will last for 3 days, from August 22 to August 24, offering teachers, parents, and students the chance to personally use and discover many useful features of the product. On the very first day, the program attracted a large number of participants.
Representatives from Intel, the Education Publishing House, and Fahasa cut the ribbon to inaugurate the program “Experience the new generation electronic textbook Classbook 2”
Classbook 2 stands out with its main interface designed like a bookshelf. The core of Classbook 2 is a complete set of nearly 300 latest electronic textbooks, arranged by grade from 1 to 12. Not merely a digital version of traditional textbooks, the electronic publications on Classbook also include multimedia content such as videos, high-quality images illustrating each lesson, and virtual experiments in Physics and Chemistry, making learning more visual and engaging.

A highly appreciated feature of Classbook is its rich and continuously updated repository of books and other electronic publications exclusively for Classbook users at www.classbook.vn. In addition to textbooks, there are currently over 1,200 supplementary books and reference materials available for online distribution. Users can easily purchase, download, and install these publications.
Classbook 2 is equipped with all the common features of a typical tablet, such as front/rear camera, microphone, dual integrated speakers, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and an external 3G module. However, as an educational device for both teachers and students, Classbook provides Internet access management and application installation controls, allowing parents to monitor and guide their children's usage appropriately.
In terms of hardware configuration, Intel has equipped Classbook 2 with solid computing performance using a dual-core Atom processor based on the Clovertrail+ architecture at 1.6GHz, which is widely used by mobile device manufacturers. Classbook 2 features 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and a microSD card slot supporting expansion up to 32GB when needed.
During the 3-day opening, the program offers many incentives for customers purchasing products at FAHASA bookstore system in Ho Chi Minh City.
