Tinh Van Communications Director Represents at IT Event Series

In response to the NATIONAL DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION YEAR and to contribute to the development of digital startups, VINASA, in coordination with the Office of the Project “Supporting the National Innovation Startup Ecosystem until 2025” (Project 844), organized a series of events to promote Digital Technology Startups within the framework of the National Techfest 2020.
Within the event framework, on November 26, 2020, the Vietnam Digital Industry Startup Investment Club (VDI) was officially launched. This is the first club specializing in digital technology startup investment in Vietnam, bringing together investors, entrepreneurs, large corporations, and technology investment funds.
VDI will focus on five main activities: (1) Developing a startup network, consulting and investing in startups, (2) Professional training on startup investment for members, (3) Exchanging and sharing investment experiences, (4) Regular activities including: Startup Café held once a month, Investment Conference held every six months, (5) Research on establishing a professional investment fund (targeting by 2022).

On the morning of November 27, at Vietnam National University, Hanoi, the scientific workshop “Developing Digital Knowledge Center Models for Vietnamese Libraries” was held, organized by the Northern Regional Association of University Libraries and the Library and Information Center – VNU Hanoi.
Delivering the welcome speech at the workshop, on behalf of VNU leadership, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Van Tich – Head of the Science and Technology Department – highly appreciated the Library and Information Center of VNU (LIC) for applying digital transformation to library information activities, contributing to the Digital Library of VNU's internal documents continuing to lead in Vietnam and rising to 75th place in the world ranking (out of nearly 3,000 participating digital libraries of internal documents worldwide).
