Kick-off Conference for the Da Nang City ICT Transaction Center Project

On the morning of April 26, 2011, at the Da Nang City Department of Information and Communications, the kick-off conference for the project “Design, Supply, Installation, Testing, and Trial Operation of the Da Nang City ICT Transaction Center” was held, implemented by Tinhvan Group and Sun Ivy International Inc.

Attending the conference were Mr. Nguyen Hoang Cam – Deputy Director of the Da Nang City Department of Information and Communications; Mr. Tran Van Dung – Deputy Director of the Da Nang ICT Development Project Management Board (PMB); representative of the contractor consortium, Mr. Phan Quang Minh – Deputy CEO of Tinh Van Technology Joint Stock Company (Tinhvan Group); representatives from various departments, agencies, and People's Committees of districts and counties in Da Nang City, as well as a large number of journalists from central and local media outlets.
At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Hoai Thanh, Head of the Project Management Department of the Da Nang ICT Development PMB, introduced the project to the guests and press. The package DNG8a – “Design, Supply, Installation, Testing, and Trial Operation of the Da Nang ICT Transaction Center” is part of the city's ICT development sub-project, including the design, supply, installation, testing, and operation of a Contact Center system – using solutions from one of the world's largest companies, Avaya; a CRM system – using Microsoft Dynamics CRM; a Portal system – using Oracle WebLogic; server systems, workstations for operators, network equipment: routers, IPS, firewalls, switches, etc. The total contract value is 25 billion VND, expected to be implemented over a period of 5 months.
Representing the contractor consortium, Mr. Phan Quang Minh – Deputy CEO of Tinh Van Technology Joint Stock Company presented the project implementation plan as well as the practical benefits when the project becomes fully operational. The Da Nang ICT Transaction Center will be capable of receiving interactions from citizens and organizations through various means such as phone, email, web chat, fax, etc., which will be strictly managed and promptly coordinated for responses. Intelligent routing based on operator skills, along with an advanced knowledge management system, will help citizens and organizations reach the right person in charge as soon as they contact the Center. Mr. Phan Quang Minh also committed that, with the experience of both parties in the consortium in their respective areas, the consortium will provide the project with the best products and services, fully meeting all project requirements as well as any practical issues arising during implementation, and will dedicate all resources to complete the project on schedule.
With the determination to build Da Nang City into a highly connected urban area, the Party Committee, Government, and city authorities, with the important role played by the Information and Communications sector, understand that it is necessary to invest in building the city's ICT infrastructure to advanced, modern standards in a synchronous and effective manner. The ICT Transaction Center to be built will be one of the five key components in the roadmap to achieve an advanced e-government level by 2015 for the Da Nang City government.
