Training for the Ministry of Finance Portal Upgrade Project

On October 12, 2015, the opening ceremony of the training program for the Ministry of Finance Portal Upgrade Project, implemented by Tinh Van Technology Joint Stock Company, took place on the 4th floor of Van Ho Trade Center, Hanoi.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Viet Ha – Deputy Director of the Department of Information Technology and Statistics, Ministry of Finance; Mr. Nguyen Son Tung – Deputy General Director of Tinhvan Group; and nearly 40 representatives from departments, divisions, and offices responsible for editing content on the Ministry of Finance Portal.
Upgraded from the Ministry of Finance Information Portal (launched in 2001), the Ministry of Finance Portal is built on a new platform, completely reorganized and unified across the entire finance sector.

At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Viet Ha – Deputy Director of the Department of Information Technology and Statistics, Ministry of Finance, stated: “The Ministry of Finance Portal is where all operational content of the ministry's units is centralized and will serve as the official spokesperson of the Ministry of Finance on the Internet. To this end, the Ministry of Finance Portal is divided into appropriate pages and specialized sections, tailored to the characteristics of each unit and in compliance with new regulations.”

After the basic upgrade was completed, the Department of Information Technology and Statistics, Ministry of Finance, in coordination with Tinh Van Technology Joint Stock Company, organized a training program for the ministry's editors and reporters on content editing and applications on the Portal. The program ran from October 12 to October 27, 2015, with three training courses: Content Editing for the Ministry of Finance Portal, Content Editing for the State Treasury Portal, and Content Editing and Administration for the Financial News Specialized Section.
