On the morning of March 27, 2012, over 20 students from the Information Technology departments of universities such as Hanoi University of Science and Technology, University of Engineering and Technology, and FPT Polytechnic College participated in a field trip to Tinh Van Group as part of the "A Day as an Employee" program organized by Sinh Vien Viet Nam newspaper.
The "A Day as an Employee" program is an initiative of Sinh Vien Viet Nam newspaper, aimed at providing students with the opportunity to observe and learn from the real working environment of businesses, helping them gain an overall understanding of corporate culture, work environment, recruitment requirements, career orientation, and development opportunities. Officially launched in September 2011, the program has become a bridge, taking students to visit many large enterprises such as FPT, BKAV, VNG Group, and Aprotrain Group.
Deputy General Director Pham Phuc Truong Luong interacting with students
Opening the "A Day as an Employee" program at Tinh Van Group, Mr. Pham Thuc Truong Luong – Deputy General Director of Tinh Van Group – extended a warm welcome to the "One-Day Employees of Tinh Van" and guided them through a small test. Accordingly, each student provided a piece of information they knew about Tinh Van. Many students were surprised and delighted by the image of "The bus with cheerful passengers" of Tinh Van. This unique feature was shared by the leaders of Tinh Van Group: The bus image symbolizes Tinh Van's management philosophy. The "Bus Philosophy" relates to the method of having like-minded people in an organization. On its journey, the bus stops at many different stops to bid farewell to passengers who want to get off and welcome new passengers. The most important thing of any journey is not the destination, but that all like-minded people travel together and feel happy and comfortable.
Students enthusiastically engaged in a Q&A session with the leadership of Tinh Van Group
During the program, Ms. Chu Lan Phuong – Head of Administration and Human Resources at Tinh Van Group – introduced some general information about Tinh Van Group and recruitment details. The students' concerns and questions about the IT field, career opportunities, and interview experience were answered by Mr. Nguyen Vinh Tho – Deputy Director of Tinh Van Solutions, and Mr. Hoang Trong Linh – from the TVi Incubator, through real stories and situations.
Right after the program, some students boldly applied for positions that Tinh Van Group was recruiting for. "This is something special that, despite organizing many programs at various large and small enterprises, has never happened before. We highly appreciate this," said Mr. Kieu Hai, the reporter in charge of the program.
The program concluded with a tour of the working environment at Tinh Van Group. Through specific guidance from Mr. Nguyen Khanh Duy – Technology Director of Tinh Van Telecom, the students gained an overview of the functions, operations, and daily job requirements of each department. This was truly valuable experience for the students as they step into a new working environment in the future.
