A wonderful festival for tech enthusiasts took place at Dong Da Cultural Park on September 24, 2011. Titled “Mr. IT – IT Fans Festival,” Tinh Van Group was honored to be the sponsor of this meaningful community event.
True to its name, the program featured a series of exciting and engaging events, just like a real festival for IT fans. Participants immersed themselves in a festive atmosphere with spectacular art performances, elaborately staged by IT students themselves—who are often stereotyped as dry and shy.
As part of the event, a fair with booths from reputable domestic and international IT companies was a very meaningful segment for students. Here, they could get closer to businesses, learn more about their structures and business lines, and especially discover job opportunities ready to welcome those with real skills and a passion for technology.
Tinh Van Group’s booth attracted many young visitors to explore and experience the company’s products, such as installing and using utilities from the Xalo Mobile digital content distribution platform for mobile phones, trying their hand at composing poetry, or checking their fortune through poetry with the beta version of Tho May 2.0 at http://lamtho.vn/thomay/. Recruitment information from Tinh Van also drew significant interest from students visiting the booth. A variety of job positions with different job natures made students eager to learn more. Nguyen Viet Hung, a final-year IT student at Hanoi University of Industry, shared: “As soon as I get home, I’ll send my CV to apply and see what happens.”
At the Mr. IT Festival, you could also explode with excitement at the super pro contest called “Shine with Mr. IT.” With the criteria “Long legs, Handsome, Tech style,” ten guys, each with their own style and personality—quirky with hair like HKT, Korean scholar with a fancy coat, wearing kimono, or Michael Jackson style—made the whole stage explode with one-of-a-kind performances.
A member of the jury, Mr. Phan Quang Minh – Deputy General Director of Tinh Van Group, said that the judges worked quite hard with enthusiasm to select the deserving candidate. With a narrow victory, the title of Mr. IT 2011 “long legs, handsome, tech style” went to Nguyen Van Phu from Foreign Trade University, closing a meaningful weekend full of joy for tech-loving hearts.
“Mr. IT – IT Fans Festival” was organized jointly by AiTi – Aptech, Topica, YEC Club, Ecom Club, Eplus Club, and MFC Club. The program was sponsored by Tinh Van Group and supported by media partner Xalo.vn.
