The Education Digital Book Joint Stock Company (EDC), a member of the Vietnam Education Publishing House, recently launched the learning application “Em làm toán”. This is a highly educational application aimed at primary school students, helping them learn effectively while playing.
“Em làm toán” is a learning application targeting students in the early grades of primary school, an age when children are still unfamiliar with numbers and calculations. With an eye-catching interface and vivid illustrations, the calculations are programmed as a game ranging from simple to complex, allowing students to easily operate, choose difficulty levels, and adjust the speed of mental arithmetic to match their abilities.
In the form of answering questions by filling in the correct answer within a time limit, the application helps students recognize and remember numbers as well as clearly distinguish between addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Additionally, math problems corresponding to grades 1, 2, and 3 are grouped, enabling students to practice a specific skill in depth and gradually increase the challenge level as they become more proficient.
After completing the selected rounds of questions, the system automatically scores and displays ranking results so that both students and parents can track their progress.
This application was built for the Classbook electronic textbook product, a product distributed by EDC and currently available on the Classbook app store (http://classbook.vn/store_detail/2378). However, this application can also be installed and used on tablets running the Android operating system.
