Classbook e-textbooks to be deployed in Laos

Recently, the Educational E-book Joint Stock Company (EDC) worked with representatives of the Ministry of Education of Laos on cooperation and development of Classbook e-textbooks in Laos.

Attending the meeting, on behalf of EDC was Director Pham Thuc Truong Luong, and on behalf of Laos were the Director of the Examination Department, Deputy Director of the Secondary Education Department, Deputy Director of the Primary Education Department, and Director of the Lao Educational Science Research Institute.

After the introduction and demo of the outstanding features and advantages of EDC's Classbook e-textbooks, the representatives of the Lao Ministry of Education expressed satisfaction and highly appreciated the importance of e-textbooks in educational innovation.

Subsequently, both sides discussed in detail the issue of widely deploying Classbook in Lao schools by 2016. In the coming time, EDC will undertake the task of developing a detailed project plan and building a sample set of textbooks for a few subjects in the Lao education system's textbook list.
