Mr. Cuong has over 20 years of experience in the Information Technology field, having served as an advisor at major corporations such as IBM and Microsoft, and also participated in strategic consulting at Tinh Van Outsourcing.
The seminar included the following main contents:

In addition, Mr. Cuong emphasized the importance of digital transformation being part of the enterprise's strategy. Digital transformation is essentially about implementing “Business Improvement”; how the transformation is carried out depends heavily on each enterprise's capabilities and risk appetite.
However, there are general considerations for enterprises undertaking digital transformation:
- Need to perform detailed calculation of effort for digital transformation
- Identify the enterprise's “Pain points”
- Describe processes, adjust and analyze the level of impact/interaction between processes to address pain points -> This process may lead to changes in corporate culture
- Need a “Business Analyst” who understands system architecture to advise the enterprise
In June 2020, the Government issued a Decision approving the “National Digital Transformation Program to 2025, with orientation to 2030”, with one of the three key tasks being “Developing the Digital Economy, enhancing the competitiveness of the economy”. The ISO certification body has also issued a set of documents guiding standards for Enterprise Digital Transformation (ISO 30415). This shows that the government, organizations, and enterprises are paying special attention to this issue.
