Tinh Van Group attends Vietnam-Bangladesh Trade Promotion Seminar

On March 30th, in the capital Dhaka, Bangladesh, the Vietnam-Bangladesh Trade Promotion Seminar and the launch ceremony of the Bangladesh-Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BVCCI) were held, attracting the attention of the governments and businesses of both countries.
This event was organized by the Vietnamese Embassy in Bangladesh to promote economic and trade cooperation between Vietnam and Bangladesh. Attending the event, on the side of the host country were Mr. Alhaj Syed Nazibul Bashar Maizvandary – a member of the Bangladesh Parliament; Mr. Abdul Matlub Ahmad – President of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry. On the Vietnamese side, Mr. Tran Van Khoa – Vietnamese Ambassador to Bangladesh was present.
Mr. Hoang To – Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tinh Van Group attended this international event and commented: “Bangladesh is a rapidly developing country; in 2016, it surpassed Vietnam to become the 46th largest economy in the world. However, the total import-export turnover between the two countries is only about 600 million USD and is striving to reach 1 billion USD this year. With a population nearly double that of Vietnam at 180 million, a young population, and a high smartphone usage rate (of which Android accounts for nearly 90%), this is a very potential market for Vietnamese technology companies aiming for a Go Global strategy, especially startups. Tinh Van and the advertising group Goldsun are planning to soon have business activities there, initially in mobile advertising.”
In addition to Goldsun and Tinh Van, representatives of Vietnamese enterprises in various fields such as advertising design, information technology, finance-banking, fertilizers… also attended to survey and work with Bangladeshi partners.
