Tinh Van Group – Empowering Physics Talents

On the afternoon of April 11, 2011, at the hall at 24/24 Nguyen Cong Hoan, Hanoi, the award ceremony for the "Online Theoretical Physics Competition – Physics & Youth Club Theoretic Olympiad – PYCTO 2010" took place.

This competition was for domestic and international students passionate about physics, organized by the Physics and Youth magazine, the Physics and Youth Club, and the "Science Discovery" book series, with sponsorship from Tinh Van Technology Joint Stock Company (Tinhvan Group).
Attending the award ceremony were Dr. Pham Van Thieu – Deputy General Secretary of the Vietnam Physical Society, Editor-in-Chief of Physics & Youth magazine; Prof. Dr. Sc. Nguyen Van Lien – Senior Researcher in Solid State Physics and Nano Systems Physics at the Vietnam Institute of Physics; representatives of the sponsor: Tinh Van Technology Joint Stock Company – Tinhvan Group; along with a large number of young physics enthusiasts, participants of PYCTO 2010, and members of the Physics and Youth Club.
Following the success of the "Online Theoretical Physics Competition – PYCTO" in 2009, the Physics and Youth magazine, the Physics and Youth Club, and the "Science Discovery" book series continued to organize the "Online Theoretical Physics Competition – PYCTO" in 2010. At the end of the competition, no prizes were awarded for the secondary school level. For the high school level, the first prize went to Tran Tuyen – a 12th-grade student in the Physics specialization class at Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted in Quang Tri. The second prize went to Pham Duy Khanh – an 11th-grade student in class 11F at Lam Son High School for the Gifted in Thanh Hoa. The third prize went to Ho Trong Hung – a 12th-grade student in class 12A3 at Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted in Nghe An.
The "Online Theoretical Physics Competition – PYCTO" is an annual competition aimed at creating a useful and exciting playground for young people who love physics. Young people aged 20 and under with a passion for physics can register to participate. The competition is conducted online, so there are no regional or territorial restrictions. Participants complete the test and send it directly to the competition's email address. The test format consists of three rounds: Round 1: General physics problems. Round 2: Thematic problems. Round 3: Problems related to real life.
