Tinh Van Group Fire Safety Training

On September 4, 2015, nearly 50 members of Tinh Van Group attended a fire safety training and awareness session to equip themselves with essential knowledge and ways to respond to fires anywhere.

The trainer was Mr. Nguy Xuan Truong, former team leader of the Hoang Mai District Fire Prevention and Fighting Team.

After introducing the history of fire prevention and fighting (FPF), Mr. Truong analyzed FPF laws and the responsibilities of each member within the enterprise through real-life stories from his work at the Hoang Mai District FPF Team. The causes of fires are diverse, ranging from gas cylinder explosions and use of old household appliances to carelessness in daily habits.

According to him, "people are priceless," so everyone needs to equip themselves with knowledge to protect themselves and those around them. Every organization and enterprise must ensure that FPF measures are always ready whenever a fire occurs.

Mr. Truong trained on FPF through real-life stories with a humorous style

For individuals, he guided Tinh Van members on how to use and check the safety of household appliances, and pointed out escape methods for different fire causes. For enterprises, he advised them to build separate escape systems and ensure facilities for FPF such as exit signs, emergency exits, ventilation fans, and fire extinguishers.

According to Mr. Truong, each family should equip 2 fire extinguishers

Mr. Truong also introduced, classified, and instructed on the use of various types of fire extinguishers. For a company like Tinh Van that uses many electronic computers, gas extinguishers are suitable. However, each enterprise still needs to equip both types (gas and powder extinguishers) for use in different situations.
