Tinh Van Group Successfully Recertifies ISO Certificates

After a two-day assessment (June 29-30, 2015) by the UK-based DAS-UKAS organization, Tinh Van Group successfully recertified its ISO 9001:2008 certificate and successfully transitioned its Information Security Management System (ISMS) to the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 standard.
Participating in the assessment were representatives of Tinh Van Group's Board of Directors, department heads, relevant individuals, and two assessors from DAS/UKAS: Mr. Nguyen Duy Hung – Lead Assessor, and Mr. Nguyen Trung Kien – Assessor.

During the two-day assessment, all units and departments of Tinh Van Group coordinated to ensure the assessment process was smooth, accurate, and highly effective. The assessment team also affirmed that they would work closely and accurately reflect Tinh Van Group's implementation according to the standards of the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System and the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Information Security Management System.
At the conclusion of the assessment, Lead Assessor Mr. Nguyen Duy Hung commented: “As one of the first software companies in Vietnam to adopt ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 27001 standards, Tinh Van Company has the advantage of a competent, skilled workforce with extensive practical experience in effectively implementing management systems to support the company's business operations.”
“The company also continuously improves by adopting new management methods such as the OKR system in 2015 to enhance operational efficiency in line with the company's policy and leadership commitments.”

Additionally, Mr. Hung concluded: “The Quality and Information Security Management System of Tinh Van Company meets the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 and ISO/IEC 27001:2013 standards. The expert team recommends that the certification body D.A.S continue to maintain the ISMS certificate and issue a new Quality Management System certificate for TINH VAN TECHNOLOGY JOINT STOCK COMPANY.”
On behalf of Tinh Van Group's Board of Directors, Mr. Nguyen Quan Son – Deputy General Director of Tinh Van Group thanked the assessment team for adhering to the set schedule and committed to addressing any non-conformities found, reviewing the recommendations made by the team to help Tinh Van best comply with ISO requirements while continuously improving its system for increasingly effective operations.

Tinh Van Group was first certified for Quality Management ISO 9001:2008 in October 2009, recertified for the first time in July 2013 (previously ISO 9001:2000 in October 2006), and received the Information Security Management ISO/IEC 27001:2005 certificate in September 2010. Additionally, Tinh Van Group holds the CMMI-3 certificate – an assessment of software process maturity developed by the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) of the United States.
