Tinh Van Group & Intel: Sponsoring 100 Classbooks for the Community

On March 21, 2014, within the framework of the "PCs for Life" festival organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications, Tinh Van Group, in coordination with Intel Vietnam, signed a commitment with the Ministry of Information and Communications and the Ministry of Education and Training to donate 100 Classbooks to pilot classes in many localities across the country.

This activity demonstrates the efforts of Intel Vietnam and Tinh Van Group in popularizing informatics and bridging the digital divide for the community in general, especially in improving the effectiveness of teaching and learning in education and training in Vietnam. According to the plan, Intel Vietnam and Tinh Van Group (represented by Tinh Van eBooks) will cooperate in research and development of the new generation Classbook, adding interactive features of the device in teaching and learning activities.

The "Computers for Life" program is an initiative launched by the Ministry of Information and Communications within the framework of the World Information Technology Forum (WITFOR) 2009 to bridge the digital divide in Vietnam. The program's operation method is to mobilize computer donations from domestic and foreign organizations and enterprises to give to people in disadvantaged areas, helping them increase opportunities to use computers and access the Internet to find useful information to improve their quality of life.
