In Q2 2019, the Board of Directors of Vietjet Air Aviation Academy signed a contract for a comprehensive upgrade of Tinh Van's Clever online training system, to be implemented by the Ho Chi Minh City branch.
The Clever online training system was deployed by Tinh Van's Ho Chi Minh City branch (TV HCM) at the Vietjet Air Training Center (VTC) in late 2016 and officially launched in 2017. At the time of launch, the system served over 3,000 trainees enrolled in courses at the center. After two years of use, the number of trainees at VTC increased to over 5,000 users.
In this new phase, VTC aims to become a leading academy that meets not only the training needs of Vietjet Air internally but also those of other members in the aviation industry in Vietnam. At this point, Clever faced the challenge of upgrading and innovating to accompany VTC's development.
After nearly a year of evaluating and exploring the latest version of Clever, in Q2 2019, the Board of Directors of Vietjet Air Aviation Academy was fully convinced by the comprehensive improvements of the new Clever version compared to the old one. In the new version, the academy's training activities will be significantly enhanced in both the Learning Management System (LMS) and Training Management System (TMS).
Notably, in this deployment and upgrade of the new Clever version at VTC, the TMS/LMS system must operate on a new environment – Amazon Web Services (AWS) – and simultaneously support at least 1,000 concurrent users. This was also a challenge for Tinh Van's product development team. After a period of working and adjusting until Amazon approved the solution, the new Clever version successfully addressed the customer's requirements.
Thanks to the significant efforts of the TVHCM technology team, Clever was selected for the continued upgrade at VTC. This not only brings revenue to Tinh Van but also demonstrates responsibility, technological capability, product development experience, etc., building customer trust.
